Our son is a biter/chewer and we purchased very inexpensive teething gards to place on the front slats. DS is constantly playing the game of dropping pacifiers and toys on the side against the wall and I'm glad the crib is easily moveable to get to them without having to crawl underneath. Plus I didn't think I wanted a crib with casters and now I'm glad I do. We *love* this crib -its very quiet and well made. I too have a Ragazzi crib (I can't remember the model number and they don't show it on the website but its very similiar to 2501, except ours has a curved arch footboard/headboard instead of the bell curve). So, if you have the ability to early as soon as possible, I recommend doing so!
Ragazzi changing table maple full#
We ordered our full set on March 6th and everything wasn't finally in our local store until the week of May 24th, and it was just delivered on May 29th. I do think the estimates for shipping are a little off. So, the cost and quality was well worth it to us knowing we wouldn't be buying new furniture for toddler-hood and early childhood also. We really are planning on using this set many years with the crib that converts to a toddler bed and then full bed, and the changing station that is a regular dresser. They weren't thrilled with their costs that was their only complaint. It's all very well made, maple wood, dovetail drawers, and very sturdy and beautiful. We're cloth diapering so her hutch is packed with her diaper stash. I also bought the changing station and hutch in Isabella in Antico Mist, and the large bookcase. I honestly can't remember our final cost anymore. We stalked it for weeks, and we ended up getting the floor model because Ragazzi had just discontinued it so we got a little more off of it. We bought 111C which is the convertible style in Antico Mist. Baby isn't here yet so I don't have any real-world advice yet.
